What counts as a "handoff"?

A handoff is one rep-to-rep transition event. When you create a handoff, you select which accounts are included. The free plan allows 1 handoff with up to 5 account briefs.

Do I need to connect a CRM to get started?

No. You can upload a CSV export from any CRM or spreadsheet — HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Notion, Salesflare, or anything else. Native one-click integrations for HubSpot and Salesforce are available on paid plans. Pipedrive, Notion, and Salesflare native integrations are coming soon.

How does Inherit generate the briefs?

Inherit uses Claude (Anthropic's AI) to analyze your CRM data — notes, activity history, contacts, deal values — and synthesizes it into structured, actionable briefs.

Is my CRM data secure?

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We never train on your data. CRM OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and can be revoked from your dashboard. See our full security page at useinherit.com/trust.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel from your billing settings and your plan reverts to free at the end of the billing period.

What happens to my briefs if I downgrade?

Your existing briefs remain accessible. You just won't be able to create new handoffs beyond the free plan limits until you upgrade again.
